TAMPA (March 28, 2016) –Newly created law firm Florida Cannabis Counsel and Regulate Florida, headed up by Michael C. Minardi, will host a book signing for Cannabis Manifesto with cannabis industry icon Steve DeAngelo. The Sunshine State Cannabration will be the official celebration for National Cannabis Awareness Month. Join us April 2nd from 6-9pm at Alvarez Photo located at 150 22nd St. South St. Petersburg, Florida 33712. Tickets range from $25-$350 and can be purchased online.

In addition to meeting the keynote speaker, guests will be able to meet industry leaders that include Neuroscientist and Eckerd College Biology Professor Dr. Greg Gerdeman, as well as the First Lady of Medical Marijuana, Alice O’Leary Randall.  There will also be live music by the Quarterbones, and many of the great organizations working to reform marijuana laws in Florida will be present.

“It is an honor for Tampa Bay to host influential leaders in the cannabis industry such as Steve DeAngelo. He has been one of the most important pioneers and voices to advocate for both the medical and economic benefits of cannabis,” said Michael Minardi, Chairman of Regulate Florida. “With the recent decriminalization of cannabis in Tampa, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the advancement and prepare local leaders for the coming transition. Cannabis entrepreneurs throughout Florida have great opportunity, so it is important to engage advocates and experienced professionals to ensure that interested parties have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.”

“This November, Florida will once again have the chance to legalize a comprehensive medical cannabis program in order to bring the patients of this state the choice to alleviate their pain and suffering with a natural and healthier alternative to deadly narcotics,” Said Michael Minardi. “In 2014, we missed the vote by 2% mostly due to political opposition and misinformation. Now is the time for Floridians to legalize and regulate cannabis.”

Guests are invited to connect with cannabis industry leaders, healthcare professionals, inventors, educators, growers, entrepreneurs, business owners and investors. As Florida moves closer to full medical cannabis legalization, Women Grow Tampa Bay will act as a catalyst to bring together the regional and statewide cannabis community
