Spark The Conversation Launches Cannabis Education Tour Across California: “High My Name Is”

With cannabis on the ballot for the 2016 election, the bus tour seeks to educate the public on personal freedom and host conversations about how to end to the Drug War.

(Los Angeles, California) October 19, 2016 /AxisWire/ In conjunction with the brand that will represent the heart of California farmers, Humboldt’s Finest, Spark The Conversation launches a multi-city, two-week education event and activation campaign set to inspire Californians to #bethechange, protect their basic liberties, and let their voices be heard as the California Cannabis Legalization Initiative, looms on the November 8th election ballot.

The tour kicks off with a private event hosted by jeweler Jacquie Aiche in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, October 19th at 4:20 pm. The Spark The Conversation bus will then travel the length of California and back concluding with an election viewing party on November 8th in San Francisco.

California’s legalization efforts are poised to bring the world’s largest cannabis market online and set a precedent for cannabis normalization efforts across the nation. With 90 million Americans supporting cannabis and drug reform, Spark The Conversation seeks to further empower the global community through media engagements, educational events, digital video and social media activations throughout the state and online.

The tour will kick off the #HighMyNameIs video and social media campaign encouraging participants to speak-up about their feelings on topics related to personal freedom, the drug war, civil liberties, non-violent imprisonment and social injustice. Anyone can participate by uploading a 15 to 60 second video, photo, or written message introducing themselves to their followers as a person who beloelves in personal freedom and posting it across social media using the hashtag #HighMyNameIs. Posts tagged #HighMyNameIs will be aggregated on the Spark The Conversation Facebook Page.

Spark The Conversation and the growing number of dispensaries, educators, activists, and media professionals that engage in the project, will help these participants connect to influencers, celebrities, politicians and cannabis businesses alike. The tour affords all participants the unique opportunity to broadcast and amplify their messages of personal freedom and activism through a grassroots campaign.
